Station Quarter
Our engagement to date
At the end of 2023, we talked to you about our proposals for Station Quarter, the first phase of the District Centre. We have now submitted an application to the Council (London Borough of Barking & Dagenham) for this part of the site.
Situated in the heart of Barking Riverside, Station Quarter will be located within the District Centre, which contains the station, the river bus services, new public spaces, and will in time include the majority of the retail and commercial spaces across the neighbourhood.
Residents, local organisations and business owners, as well as the wider community, were invited to shape the emerging plans. Following the engagement sessions, BRL have submitted an application to the Council. You can find out more about our proposals below.
